actually its …
actually its voltage. you need a good 100 or so volts out of an amp to get them to full brightness. that’s about 800 watts RMS at 8 ohms. Think monster sub amp. Kipkay is a moron for not mentioning this and is probably using led lights. In witch case they only need a 50 watt RMS amp to run them.

Don’t connect the far ends, like he said just tape it off, otherwise it’s a short circuit!
It works, you need to have an amplifier with plenty of power.
Those lights require a bit of power to light and a wimpy amplifier can’t drive it. Forget any thing less than 50 watts per channel.
