How much would it cost to have an electrician install an outdoor electrical outlet?
My husband and I want to put lights outside on our house this year for Christmas. Just wondering what the approximate cost would be to have an outlet installed. Thanks.
Angelia, since the cost of material and labor greatly varies by location, you should definitely get a licensed electrician to install the outside outlet.

I recently got a quote for $125.00 per outlet. Not sure where you live but if you can find a Handyman which we did he did several things for us for around a $100.00 and it would have cost us over $500.00 with an electrician.

I have a handyman who charges $25 per hour, no matter what he does. He has done lots of electrical work for that amount of money.
I had a shed wired and a pedestal outlet installed by an electrician, and her charged me $75, per hour. It took him 2 hours, so the cost was $150.
