A Jonas Brothers Love Story Chapter 144

**Last chapter, Regina’s family had a Christmas party with Aly’s and Kat’s families. At the end, there was someone at the door. Wonder who it was…..**

Regina: *gets up to answer the door* Be right back! *Opens the door and squeals with delight. It was Joe! Come home early just for her! Everyone else came running over*
Nick and Kevin: *step out form either side of the door*
Aly and Kat: *starts cheering*
Regina: *throws herself into Joe’s arms*
Joe: *kisses her cheek* Merry Christmas love.
Regina: *tears of happiness streaming down her cheeks* Merry Christmas Joe.
Aly: *runs to Nick and throws her arms around him*
Nick: *wraps his arms around her waist and spins her around. He kisses her mid spin. They spin around 3 times before he lets her down* Merry Christmas Aly.
Aly: *crying from joy* Merry Christmas Nick! *kisses him again*
Kat: *runs to Kevin and wraps her arms around his neck. She pulls his face down the few inches to hers and kisses him*
Kevin: *wraps his arms around her as tightly as he can and kisses her back*
Kat: *leans back, her eyes shining with unshed tears of joy* Merry Christmas Kevy.
Kevin: *kisses her nose* Merry Christmas Katy.

*They all come in and join the party… which now has no possibility of ending any time soon*
Mrs. Faustine: Would you boys like something to eat? We were only just putting away the turkey.
Regina: *holding Joe’s hand* Unless you guys ate already?
Joe: You and your mom made it… didn’t you?
Regina: *smiles and nods*
Joe: May I have a plate please?
Regina: *quickly serves him some turkey and pudding*
Nick and Kevin: That looks good!
Aly and Kat: *rush to grab plates for their boys and get them set up with turkey and pudding as well*

**11 p.m.**
**Everyone is sitting in the living room by the fire and watching the Christmas Lights changing on the tree**
Regina: *sitting on the couch with Joe* Hey Joe….
Joe: Yes Regina?
Regina: Didn’t you say that I would get to know what the surprise is the next time I saw you?
Joe: *smiles as everyone in the room sits up a little straighter and turns to watch the pair of them* Yes, yes I did.
Regina: Do I get to know?
Joe: Close your eyes.
Regina: *closes her eyes and suddenly feels excited and nervous at the same time as she feels Joe get up*
Joe: *takes her hands and pulls her to her feet* Keep your eyes closed.
Regina: *lets him pull her to her feet, her eyelids not even flickering. She trusts him completely*
Joe: *lets go of her hands* Okay. Open your eyes.
Regina: *opens her eyes to see him standing in front of her*
Joe: *reaches into his pocket and goes down on one knee*
Regina: *her heart starts thudding so fast in her chest. She is thrilled and scared… wonderfully elated and completely terrified*
Joe: *pulls out a small box and opens it. Inside there is a silver ring. He looks straight into her eyes* Regina, these last few years with you have been the best of my life. I want to always have you beside me. I want yours to be the very first face I see in the morning, and the very last one I see before falling asleep. Will you marry me?
Regina:*puts her hand over her heart… she never imagined that anything could make her feel as happy as she did now. Nothing else in the world would ever make her happy the way that just had and she knew that. She swallows a few times… trying to find her voice. Finally she manages to say, barely more than a whisper* Yes. Yes of course I will Joe.
Joe: *takes the ring out of the box and picks her hand back up*
Regina: *watches with delight as he slides it onto her ring finger on her left hand. She looks up into his eyes* I love you Joe.
Joe: I love you too Regina. *he pulls her to him and kisses her more passionately then he ever had before*
Mrs. Faustine: *breaks into tears*
Regina: *lets go of Joe and turns to everyone else in the room, tears of joy falling down her face again*
*Aly and Kat were beaming at her, a few tears were falling down Aly’s cheeks and Regina could see a tear trailing down Kat’s nose. Nick and Kevin were both smiling at her and Joe. Her mom was sobbing, but looking happier than she had for a long time. Her dad was hugging her mom, looking happy too. Angie started clapping and everyone else started clapping too. Regina giggles a little through her tears as Joe grabbed her around the waist and pulled her to him again. They kissed again*
